Since its establishment in 1970, Voras has followed a steady growth trajectory in the meat processing industry, based on three fundamental principles: Excellence, Investment, and Innovation.
What began as a family business has evolved into a modern, vertically integrated European industrial facility, specializing in the processing of offal, stomachs, and other meat products, serving partners in Greece and abroad.
Today, Voras combines five decades of experience with modern production technologies, maintaining high standards of quality and food safety at every stage of the process.
1970 | The Beginning. Founding of the family business. The foundations are laid for a steady growth trajectory centered on quality.
1976 | Specialization in Meat By-products. The company establishes its operations in Agios Georgios Rizariou, Edessa. Systematic processing of offal and stomachs begins, along with the trade in animal fats and meats, creating the first foundation of technical expertise.

2006 | Relocation to State-of-the-Art Facilities. Strategic relocation of the headquarters to the Mousga Rizariou site. On a privately owned 33,000 m² area, a new 3,000 m² building complex is being constructed, equipped with the latest technology machinery to optimize the production process.
2018 | Cold Storage Rooms Upgrade. A significant investment in the expansion and technological upscaling of the cold storage facilities, increasing storage capacity and ensuring stable storage conditions.
2024 | Green Transition & Energy Self-Sufficiency. Commitment to sustainability. Installation of an advanced solar panel system to power mechanical equipment with green, renewable energy, drastically reducing the environmental footprint of our production.
